Labradors

It was with Labrador retrievers that Gill first started breeding some 30 years ago. Although always bred with working in the shoot field in mind, our Labradors are no different to any other and make wonderful pet dogs.

Our line leads back to the famous Sandringham Sydney and Sandringham Hugo both owned by HM The Queen.

Although Olderhill is a working line and generally do not meet the requirements of the show bench, we are often asked if we can supply chocolate Labradors.

Our answer is ‘no’ but we now have a black stud dog who does have chocolate in his pedigree and he does throw chocolate pups.

We call him Merlin but his pedigree name is Bettws BossyBoots Olderhill.
